Parish Council & Commissions


Worship Commission

This commission organizes and oversees training sessions for active parishioners who wish to serve as Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Welcoming Ministers/Ushers, Sacristans, or Altar Servers (children who have received First Eucharist and adults). Parishioners are also welcome to participate in the choir or as musicians.

Religious Education and Formation Commission

This commission plans, assesses, coordinates and institutes all programs related to religious education and formation for all members of St. Casimir, children, youth, adults and families. This commission also works with both the IHM-St. Casimir and Lansing Catholic Central Schools in offering religious education and formation to our youth.

Social Ministry Commission

This commission assists parish organizations and helps coordinate parish activities. Members work to serve those in need and advocate for justice.


Pastoral Council

The coordinating and unifying structure of the parish, the pastoral council acts as an advisory group for the pastor in developing parish policies and conducting matters of business. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Finance Council

The purpose of this council is to assist the pastor in the material administration of the church. Areas of focus include the budget, operations and stewardship in order to carry out the goals and objectives established by the Parish Pastoral Council.

All parishioners are welcome to attend Finance Council meetings. The next Finance Council meeting is Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Rectory following the 6:00 pm Mass. Please join us to know how the parish is allocating funds and offer your suggestions, too.
